The BenQ S80 features a compact build with dimensions measuring 90 x 45 x 24 mm and a weight of 110 grams. These specs give the phone a quite portable profile, fitting easily into pockets and small bags, making it ideal for users prioritizing portability. The use of Mini-SIM was standard for devices launched in this era, which also facilitated quick carrier changes. The phone came in two color variants: Red and Black, providing a modest range of aesthetic choices.
