Connectivity and Features
Connectivity was fairly basic, with 2G GSM bands covering 900 and 1800 frequencies. There was no support for EDGE, Bluetooth, or WLAN, which restricted the phone’s internet and peripheral device connectivity. Positioned for emerging markets or casual use, the inclusion of FM radio (optionally) added value by providing a source of entertainment without internet reliance. The absence of advanced positioning systems was expected for a device of this range and era.
