The audio capabilities of the Bird S570 are limited by the absence of both a loudspeaker and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Users rely on vibration and downloadable polyphonic ringtones for call and message alerts. Communication technology is restricted to basic 2G GSM connectivity – specifically GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 bands. The phone does not support EDGE, Bluetooth, WLAN, or any form of modern positioning technology. Instead, it communicates using WAP 1.2.1 for basic browsing.
