Bird S890 Connectivity and Communications

Connectivity and Communications

In terms of connectivity, the Bird S890 was quite limited. There was no support for modern conveniences such as Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, restricting the phone to basic communication capabilities. The presence of an infrared port did offer some degree of wireless data exchange, which was a common alternative for file sharing among phones in the early 2000s. GPRS Class 10 was supported, enabling access to 2G networks for basic internet usage, navigable through a WAP 2.0/xHTML browser.
