Performance and Software
The phone was to run on BlackBerry OS 6.1, a platform geared towards improving user experience with more intuitive navigation and fluidity. Under the hood, it was planned to be powered by a Qualcomm MSM8655 Snapdragon S2 chipset, featuring an 800 MHz Scorpion CPU and an Adreno 205 GPU. This combination, though modest by today's standards, was expected to deliver satisfactory performance for applications typical of BlackBerry users, such as email and productivity tasks. The anticipated 1GB of internal storage, complemented by 512MB RAM, provided enough space for essential apps and operations, with additional storage available via a dedicated microSDHC card slot.
