Design and Build
The PlayBook’s design reflects the minimalist and professional aesthetic synonymous with BlackBerry products. With dimensions of 194 x 130 x 10 mm and weighing 425 grams, it had a solid, compact feel that made it portable yet substantial in hand. The 7-inch TFT display with a resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels offered users a 16:9 aspect ratio. While not class-leading, it was serviceable for multimedia consumption with a decent screen-to-body ratio of approximately 54.7%.
