The device came with a removable 1600 mAh Li-Ion battery, another trait common and useful in devices of that era, allowing for easy replacement. It promised standby times of up to 550 hours on 2G and up to 500 hours on 3G, with talk times up to 20 hours on 2G and 10 hours on 3G.
