The Pure XR featured a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, offering a pixel density of approximately 401 ppi. This translated to vivid colors, deep blacks, and good contrast levels, providing an enjoyable viewing experience for media consumption. Its screen-to-body ratio of around 72.2% allowed for a sizable display area without overly thick bezels. A unique feature was the inclusion of a 3D Touch display, which allowed users to access additional menus and shortcuts depending on the pressure applied—a novel addition for a phone in its price range at the time.
