Performance and Software
The BLU Studio 5.0 CE runs on the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, which was commendable at the time of release for a budget device. Operating under the hood is a dual-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 processor paired with a Mali-400 GPU. While not suitable for intensive gaming or multitasking, it was adequate for day-to-day tasks like browsing the web, social media, and running lightweight applications.
Memory constraints are apparent with only 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. Fortunately, the phone supports a microSDHC card, allowing users to expand the storage to accommodate more apps and media files. However, performance would visibly lag when multiple apps ran simultaneously or when storage approached its limit.
