Performance and Software
Powered by a Mediatek MT6582 chipset with a quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 processor and Mali-400MP2 GPU, the BLU Studio 6.0 HD was not positioned for heavy multitasking but handled basic smartphone tasks well. The device came with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean pre-installed, which could be upgraded to Android 4.4.2 KitKat, offering some measure of future-proofing at launch. With only 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage, the device is quite limited by today's standards, although storage expandability through a microSDHC card provides some relief.
