Under the hood, the BLU Studio Energy 2 is powered by a Mediatek MT6735 chipset paired with a quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 processor. This is supplemented by 1.5GB of RAM, which, while modest, was acceptable at the time for handling basic multitasking and day-to-day apps. The Mali-T720MP2 GPU provides competent graphics processing, making it feasible for light gaming. The device runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop), a somewhat outdated OS, which may limit compatibility with the latest app updates.
