For photography, the BLU Tattoo S featured a single 1.3-megapixel main camera, which was capable of still photography and basic video recording. Although it did not have a front-facing camera for selfies, the rear camera sufficed for users with minimal photo needs. This design choice was in keeping with the device's role as a straightforward communication tool rather than a multimedia device.
