Under the hood, the Touchbook M7 Pro runs on a Mediatek MT8321 chipset paired with a quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 CPU and a Mali-400 GPU. While this combination is far from cutting-edge, it’s suitable for basic tasks like calling, texting, and using light applications. The device comes with Android 7.0 Nougat, a version of Android that, while outdated today, provides access to a decent range of features and apps. The internal memory sits at 8GB, along with 1GB RAM—admittedly quite limited by modern standards but usable with diligent management of applications and storage. Fortunately, the device allows for memory expansion via microSDXC up to a reasonable limit, providing extra space for media and documents.
