Performance and Software
Powered by a Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 chipset and a quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU, the device offers respectable performance for basic applications and multitasking. The Adreno 306 GPU handles graphics tasks, though its limitations become apparent with graphically intensive games or applications. The inclusion of only 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage marked the device as an ideal candidate for lightweight users, but the option to expand storage via a microSDHC card provided some flexibility.
The handset runs on the Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1 operating system, and the option to upgrade to Windows 10 was an appealing feature at the time of release, extending the device’s utility and application compatibility.
