Features and Functionality
In terms of functionality, the Bosch Com 906 is decidedly minimalist. It lacks many features that are standard today, such as a camera, loudspeaker, and USB connectivity. There are no card slots for expandable memory; internal storage only includes a phonebook capable of storing 100 contacts, and a call record feature that logs the 10 most recent dialed, received, and missed calls. Messaging capabilities are limited to SMS, as there is no internet browser or emailing functionality.
The sound functionality is equally basic, with monophonic ringtones and no 3.5mm audio jack for headphones. Entertainment options are non-existent; there are no games installed, and no capability for downloading additional software, as the phone does not support Java.
