Performance and Software
Powered by a Qualcomm MSM8917 Snapdragon 425 chipset, coupled with a quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and an Adreno 308 GPU, the Aquaris U Lite delivered performance adequate for basic smartphone operations. With 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, it handled multitasking of light applications fairly well. However, heavy gaming or intensive processing demands would reveal its limitations. Originally shipping with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, it was upgradeable to Android 7.0 Nougat, which was a significant benefit, ensuring users had access to newer features and security updates.
