It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box, which, while somewhat dated, was suitable for the mid-2010s. The internal storage and RAM, at 16GB and 1GB respectively, are on the low side, but the presence of a dedicated microSDXC card slot mitigates storage constraints, offering expandability for those who need more space.
