Performance
Under the hood, the Signature HD was powered by a Mediatek MT6577H chipset, coupled with a dual-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A9 CPU and PowerVR SGX531u GPU. While these specs were capable of handling basic smartphone tasks and some light multitasking, they were limited by contemporary expectations. The device ran on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, which, at the time, provided access to a wide array of applications and basic smartphone functionalities. The 1GB of RAM and internal storage of 4GB (of which 1.45GB was user-accessible) meant users needed to manage their apps and data efficiently. However, the presence of a dedicated microSDHC card slot allowed for expandable storage, which was a valuable inclusion.
