Under the hood, the Celkon A407 runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, now a significantly outdated version of Android. It's powered by a 1.0 GHz CPU and an RDA 8810P chipset, paired with a Mali-400 GPU. This hardware configuration is basic and can handle simple tasks such as calling, texting, and light web browsing. However, the 256MB of RAM and 512MB of internal storage severely limit its ability to multitask or run modern apps and games. Additional storage can be added via a microSDHC card slot, which is crucial for storing media as the internal storage is insufficient for most users' needs.
