Performance and Software
Powered by a Spreadtrum 7731 chipset with a quad-core 1.2 GHz CPU and a Mali-400 GPU, the Celkon Q405 offered modest performance appropriate for basic tasks such as browsing, messaging, and light app usage. It ran on Android 4.4 KitKat, an older version of Android even in 2015, which provided a straightforward operating system with necessary app support and optimization for entry-level specs.
With 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage, the phone was intended for minimalistic usage, such as messaging and calling, with limited space for apps and media. The inclusion of a microSDHC card slot allowed users to expand storage, offering a practical solution for those who needed additional space for photos or offline music.
