In terms of audio, the Chea 188 supported polyphonic ringtones, allowing users some choice of auditory alerts. It also had a vibration feature for more discreet notifications. However, the absence of a 3.5mm jack and additional modern audio features meant that its use was mainly limited to calls and basic alerts via the loudspeaker.
