Running on Android 5.1 Lollipop, the Coolpad Shine was powered by a Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 chipset coupled with an octa-core CPU configuration. This included a combination of four 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 cores and four 1.0 GHz Cortex-A53 cores, which, together with the Adreno 405 GPU, offered a balanced performance for multitasking and gaming scenarios typical of its time. The device included 2GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, with support for microSDHC cards, allowing users to expand their storage capacity.
