Connectivity and Additional Features
Connectivity was decidedly basic with the Dell Mini 3i. It supported GSM 2G bands, offering GPRS and EDGE class 12 connectivity but no 3G or 4G capabilities, greatly limiting its internet use to slower speeds. It did not include Wi-Fi, which could have enhanced Internet access at hotspots, but it did offer Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP for wireless audio streaming. For positioning, the phone featured GPS and A-GPS, which were practical for navigation. However, the lack of a built-in FM radio and a 3.5mm audio jack further diminished its capabilities as a standalone multimedia device. Charging and data transfer were conducted through a miniUSB 2.0 port, aligning with the era's standards.
