Performance and Software
Running on the Android operating system version 1.6 (Donut), the Streak was upgradable to Android 2.2 (Froyo), which offered improved performance and expanded app compatibility. It housed a Qualcomm QSD8250 Snapdragon S1 chipset with a 1.0 GHz Scorpion processor and an Adreno 200 GPU. Coupled with 512MB of RAM, the device struggled to handle more demanding applications or multitasking scenarios of even its time, but it functioned adequately for basic tasks like browsing and media playback. Its internal memory of 16GB was considerable, supplemented by a microSDHC slot for further expansion.
