Design and Build
The Ericsson GF 388 is characterized by its robust build, typical of mobile phones from the mid-90s. With dimensions of 130 x 49 x 23 mm, the device is compact yet fairly chunky by modern standards. Weighing 170 grams, it had a noticeable heft, a reassuring presence in the hand that signaled durability. The use of a Mini-SIM was standard for the time, as were the device's alphanumeric keypad and small display. The phone's design was functional, with an emphasis on simplicity and ease of use, without the distractions of today’s sleek touchscreens and complex interfaces.
