Design and Build
In terms of design, the Ericsson GS 18 features a classic 1990s form factor. With dimensions of 147 x 60 x 24 mm, it offers a robust presence, typical for the devices of its era. Weighing in at 215 grams, this device is considerably heavier than modern smartphones, but this additional weight provided a sense of durability and sturdiness. The phone uses a Mini-SIM and showcases an alphanumeric display capable of presenting 4 x 12 characters, which was standard for text-based communication at the time. The display also includes fixed icons, assisting users with basic navigation.
