Powered by a quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 processor and a PowerVR Series 5XT GPU, the Gionee Elife E3 was equipped to handle everyday tasks and moderate multitasking with relative ease. Originally shipped with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, the device was later upgradable to Android 4.4.2 KitKat, allowing users access to improved features and security updates. The phone includes 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which was quite competitive during its release. For users requiring additional storage, a dedicated microSDHC card slot was available.
