For photography enthusiasts, the Gionee Elife S5.1 comes with an 8 MP rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture. It supports autofocus and features such as LED flash, panorama, and HDR modes. The camera is capable of recording 1080p video at 30 frames per second, which was quite standard at its time of release. The 5 MP front camera, with an f/2.4 aperture, sufficed for casual selfies and video calls but did not offer the high quality seen in more recent devices.
