Under the hood, the Gionee Marathon M3 is powered by a quad-core 1.3 GHz CPU coupled with a Mali-450 GPU, running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. While not a powerhouse by today's standards, it was sufficient for basic tasks such as web browsing, social media, and light gaming.
