Running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, the Gionee Pioneer P4 is powered by a Mediatek MT6582V/X chipset with a quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 CPU, and a Mali-400MP2 GPU. The device includes 1GB of RAM, which, by today’s standards, is minimal but was adequate for standard tasks at the time. With 8GB of internal storage, expandable via a microSDHC card slot, users had some room to store their applications and personal data.
