Performance and Platform
The Google Pixel 2 XL was launched with Android 8.0 Oreo but can be upgraded to Android 11, offering a clean and responsive interface as expected from a Google device. Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset built on 10 nm architecture. This octa-core processor, clockspeed with four cores at 2.35 GHz and four at 1.9 GHz, paired with an Adreno 540 GPU, provides seamless performance for everyday tasks and more demanding applications. Although it’s now several generations old, the chipset was one of the top performers at its time, ensuring smooth multitasking and gaming experiences.
