Powered by a removable Li-Ion 720 mAh battery, the N70 provides a standby time of up to 135 hours and up to 4 hours of talk time, which was competitive at the time of its release. While these numbers may seem low by today's standards, they were sufficient to keep the phone running for a day or two without constant recharges.
