The U53 is equipped with a 2.0-inch TFT display capable of producing 65K colors. While modest by today's standards, this screen served its purpose well enough in displaying essential information and simple graphics, typical for phones in this category in 2010. Though the screen’s size and color depth limit its multimedia capabilities, it is adequate for basic texting and basic phone operations.
