Under the hood, the HMD Aura is powered by the Unisoc SC9863A1 chipset built on the 28nm process platform, which is paired with an octa-core CPU and IMG8322 GPU. The CPU has a setup of four Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.6 GHz and four at 1.2 GHz, which should handle everyday tasks such as browsing and running basic applications with relative ease. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which is expandable via a microSD card in the shared SIM slot, providing enough room for apps, photos, and videos.
