Performance and Software
The Honor 4X was initially shipped with Android 4.4.2 KitKat but can be upgraded to Android 6 Marshmallow via the EMUI 3 interface. This upgrade provides basic enhancements in performance and user experience. Depending on the model, the phone is powered either by a Kirin 620 or a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset. The former features an octa-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and a Mali-450MP4 GPU, while the latter offers a quad-core setup alongside an Adreno 306 GPU. With 2GB RAM, the performance is adequate for standard applications, though it may lag with more demanding tasks or multitasking.
