Honor 5c Performance

Performance

Under the hood, the Honor 5c is powered by the Kirin 650 chipset, built on a 16 nm process. It houses an octa-core CPU, split into four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz and four at 1.7 GHz, ensuring both efficiency and power when needed. The Mali-T830MP2 GPU manages graphics tasks, suitable for casual gaming and media consumption. Paired with 2GB of RAM, the phone competently handles multitasking, although heavy users might observe some limitations with performance-intensive apps. Initially shipped with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, it is upgradeable to Android 7.0 Nougat, ensuring it supports more recent features. EMUI 4.1 overlays the Android base with added customization options and user-friendly utilities.
