Performance and Software
Under the hood, the Honor 9X Pro is powered by Huawei's in-house Kirin 810 chipset, manufactured on a 7nm process. This octa-core processor, coupled with Mali-G52 MP6 GPU, is capable of handling everyday tasks and gaming with relative ease. Users can choose between configurations of 128GB storage with 8GB of RAM, or 256GB internal storage paired with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM, providing flexibility in terms of multitasking and app management. While the phone originally launched with Android 9.0 Pie, it is upgradeable to Android 10 via EMUI 9.1. However, it's important to note that the device does not support Google Play Services, which could be a drawback for users reliant on Google's ecosystem.
