Under the hood, the tablet runs on a MediaTek MT8786 chipset, coupled with an octa-core CPU comprising of 2x2.0 GHz Cortex-A75 and 6x1.8 GHz Cortex-A55 cores. This configuration supports moderate multitasking and standard applications without much lag. The Honor Tab 7 offers two storage options: 64GB with 4GB RAM and 128GB with 4GB RAM, both expandable via microSDXC. It operates on Android 10 with Honor's Magic UI 4.1, although its lack of Google Play Services might be a drawback for users who rely heavily on Google's ecosystem. Alternative app marketplaces may have to be explored for app downloads.
