Under the hood, the Honor Tablet X7 is powered by the Mediatek MT8768T Helio P22T chipset, featuring an octa-core CPU with a balanced mix of four high-performance cores at 2.3 GHz and four power-efficient cores at 1.8 GHz Cortex-A53. Coupled with 3GB of RAM and a PowerVR GE8320 GPU, the tablet handles basic multi-tasking and media playback with relative ease. However, more demanding applications or games may challenge the device, which is expected in this segment. The internal storage of 32GB might feel limited, but thankfully, it is expandable via a microSDXC card.
