Performance and Software
Under the hood, the Honor View 20 is powered by the Kirin 980 chipset, built on a 7 nm process, marking it as a performance-centric device. The octa-core CPU, consisting of high-performance Cortex-A76 cores and energy-efficient Cortex-A55 cores, ensures smooth multitasking and responsive app interaction. The Mali-G76 MP10 GPU complements the CPU by handling graphics-intensive tasks with ease, be it gaming or media editing.
Originally running Android 9.0 (Pie), the device is upgradable to Android 10, with Honor's Magic UI 4.0 overlay providing additional customization and functionality. The lack of a microSD card slot is offset by generous internal storage options, ranging from 128GB with 6GB or 8GB of RAM to 256GB with 8GB of RAM, all utilizing UFS 2.1 technology for faster data access.
