Photography on the HTC 8XT was facilitated by an 8 MP rear camera. With features like autofocus and LED flash, the camera was suited for basic photography needs. It also supported video recording at 1080p at 30 frames per second, which was quite impressive for a device of its class. The front-facing 1.6 MP camera, although limited in detail, sufficed for video calls and basic selfies.
