Under the hood, the HTC Amaze 4G was powered by a dual-core 1.5 GHz Scorpion processor coupled with an Adreno 220 GPU. At the time, this configuration provided a smooth user experience, capable of handling daily tasks and multimedia applications with ease. The phone shipped with Android 2.3.4 (Gingerbread) but was upgradable to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), alongside HTC's Sense UI 3. These specifications ensured that the device could competently run most applications available at the time, although the 1GB of RAM might seem limiting for power users or those accustomed to more recent hardware.
