Performance and Software
Powering the HTC Flyer is the Qualcomm MSM8255T Snapdragon S2 chipset, paired with a 1.5 GHz Scorpion CPU and an Adreno 205 GPU. This combination, while modest by today's standards, was quite capable at its launch. The Flyer originally shipped with Android 2.3.3 (Gingerbread), which could be upgraded to Android 3.2 (Honeycomb) enhanced with HTC's Sense UI for additional customization options. The presence of 1GB RAM and storage variants of 16GB or 32GB, expandable via a microSDHC card slot, provided ample space for applications and media.
