Powered by the Qualcomm MSM7200A chipset, the HTC Hero CDMA runs on a 528 MHz ARM 11 CPU paired with an Adreno 130 GPU. This configuration provided sufficient performance for running Android Eclair effectively, supported by the 288MB of RAM and 512MB internal storage. The dedicated microSD card slot allowed for additional storage expansion, which was crucial given the limited internal storage. The inclusion of HTC's Sense UI aimed to refine user interaction with more intuitive operations and widgets, setting it apart from a stock Android experience.
