Measuring 115 x 60 x 12 mm and weighing a handleable 130g, the HTC Hero S is compact and easily portable. Its design, while not groundbreaking, is functional, featuring a matte black finish that adds a touch of elegance. The device supports a Mini-SIM card and features a 4.0-inch S-LCD display. With a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels, the screen offers acceptable clarity with its 16:9 aspect ratio and pixel density of 275 ppi, which was respectable at the time of its release. The screen-to-body ratio of approximately 63.9% might seem modest by today's standards, but it provides ample space for navigation and media consumption.
