Connectivity
The connectivity features of the HTC MAX 4G were among its main selling points, being one of the first devices to support WiMAX in addition to standard WiFi 802.11 b/g. Connectivity options included Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, GPS with A-GPS for navigation, and a miniUSB port for data transfer and charging. Its integration with Yota’s Mobile WiMAX network (2.5-2.7 GHz) was cutting-edge, although limited to regions with compatible networks. The device lacked an FM radio, which was a common feature in many contemporaries.
