Connectivity and Features
Connectivity options on the HTC MTeoR included Bluetooth and an infrared port, albeit lacking in WLAN, which restricted its internet capabilities outside of cellular data. It supported 3G UMTS 2100 bands, enabling faster data speeds than its GSM counterparts, a significant advantage for users in 2006. However, its proprietary USB connection may have posed inconveniences, as it lacked the universal compatibility we expect today. The device was equipped with a standard WAP 2.0/xHTML and HTML (PocketIE) browser, permitting basic web navigation, which was further enhanced by downloadable ringtones and vibration alert modes.
