Under the hood, the HTC One Dual Sim houses the Qualcomm APQ8064T Snapdragon 600 chipset, paired with a quad-core 1.7 GHz Krait 300 CPU and an Adreno 320 GPU. This combination was quite potent at the time of release, delivering smooth performance for a range of applications and multitasking needs. The phone originally shipped with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean but could be upgraded to Android 5 Lollipop, along with HTC's Sense UI 5. This provided users with a user-friendly interface and access to a plethora of apps and customizations.
