Audio and Connectivity
Audio has always been an area where HTC sought to excel, and the stereo speakers on the E8 were no exception, offering clear and robust sound output. The inclusion of a 3.5mm jack was essential at the time, aligning with user expectations for compatibility with existing audio devices. On the connectivity front, the E8 supports a wide range of bands and technologies, ensuring broad compatibility with networks globally. Wi-Fi capabilities, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP and aptX, GPS and GLONASS for precise positioning, and NFC round out a solid communications suite. However, it misses out on FM radio, which was available in some competing models.
