Under the hood, the HTC One E9+ runs on a Mediatek MT6795M Helio X10 chipset, featuring an octa-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 processor and a PowerVR G6200 GPU. With 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, expandable via a dedicated microSDXC slot, it was well-equipped to handle most tasks smoothly. The phone initially shipped with Android 5.0 (Lollipop) and was upgradable to Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), with HTC’s Sense UI 7 providing a user-friendly interface.
